As a Doula, I am dedicated to providing personalized and supportive care to expectant mothers and families,
ensuring each birthing experience is safe, empowering, and deeply fulfilling.

Why have a Doula?

Having a doula is essential because they offer unconditional support, providing emotional reassurance and guidance throughout the birthing process. With a doula, you gain access to a wide range of coping methods, reducing the need for medical interventions and promoting a more natural birth experience. They serve as an unbiased resource, offering evidence-based information and helping you advocate for yourself, ultimately leading to a more satisfying birth experience for both you and your baby.

Prenatal “bump”

During our prenatal sessions I will cover a range of topics including childbirth preparation, a personalized birth plan, breastfeeding support, newborn care, and more. These sessions equip expectant parents with the knowledge and confidence they need to make informed decisions about their birthing experience.

Birthing Support

For the time of labor and delivery, I provide continuous physical, emotional, and informational support for you and your partner. Before, during, and after childbirth. I offer personalized care tailored to your unique preferences, ensuring that you feel empowered and supported every step of the way.

Postpartum Care

Through the fourth trimester, I bring compassionate assistance and guidance to new and seasoned parents as you navigate the challenges of parenthood. From feeding & soothing to recovery from childbirth, I am able to help families adjust and thrive during this precious time.

Being a doula in the NICU, I am able to provide emotional support, education, and advocacy for parents, guiding them through the complexities of their baby’s care and empowering them to make informed decisions. I can help facilitate bonding, offer breastfeeding assistance, and connect families with resources to navigate the challenges of the NICU experience.


Bereavement

Whether you are experiencing a miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant/child loss, I am available to walk with you during that unimaginable journey. I feel my own personal experiences, as well as being the Director of Critical Care & Bereavement for a local nonprofit, complement my professional knowledge with empathy and understanding. This is a service I provide at no cost.

Hi! I’m Laura Beth,
and I would love to be your doula!
I am a mother of six, four earth side and 2 beautiful angel babies. All of my deliveries were very different. Each experience showed me that when a woman is fully supported with information, given all of the options available to her, birth can be a transforming and empowering experience in any setting. Providing personalized care to ensure a memorable and positive birth for your family is my top priority. I would love the opportunity to serve you as you welcome your new arrival into the world.
